Poha/Atukulu Chudwa

Mom is an expert in making chudwa .And here comes her recipe .
Nutritional values :
Poha does not have much nutritional value, however it is low fat, similar to rice.
It can be served as a tea time snack .

Ingredients:
Thin Poha/Atukulu - 6 cups (Rice cooker measurement cup)
Peanuts - 1 cup
Green Chillies- 3(add according to
Red Chillies -3
Salt - 1tsp(add according to taste)
Sugar - 1tsp(add according to taste)
Red chili powder -1/2 tsp(optional)
Turmeric -1/2 tsp
Corn flakes - 2 cups
Curry leaves - 7-8
Garlic - 3 pods(optional)
Mustard seeds - 1/2 tsp(add according to taste)
oil - needed for frying corn flakes and preparing chudwa .

Method:
1.Heat a pan and adding 1 glass poha at a time fry for sometime without oil(the poha becomes crispy) .
2.Heat some oil in a pan sufficient enough to fry the corn flakes. Once the oil is hot(only if oil is hot the flakes puff and become crispy).
3.Heat a pan add oil once the oil is hot add mustard seeds ,crushed/grated garlic ,peanuts,curry leaves,red chillies,green chillies  fry them until raw smell of garlic goes away peanuts should be well roasted.
4.Add salt,turmeric,sugar to the mixture and keep stirring for 3-4 min .
5.Add corn flakes , poha and mix them well so that all the spice mixture is coated well on poha .Turn the heat to low for about 5 min and switch off the heat.
6.Allow the chudwa to cool and store it in a air tight container , stays up to 15 days or even longer.

Realised that i posted wrong comment on wrong recipe he he anyway this is a great savoy!
