Maida Crunchy Snack

Happy diwali !!!! May the divine lights of Diwali bring lots of happiness, health and prosperity to all of you !!!

Well you might be wondering what is this dish , actually tried this shape for first time so don't know the name yet for the snack . This shape is actually used for preparing sweet but me and shirish are not big fans of sweet so tried making it like this.It tasted delicious .

Ingredients:
Maida/All purpose flour - 1 cup
butter - 1/2 tsp
Red chili powder - 1/2 tsp(add according to taste)
Salt - according to taste
Spring onion - 2 tsp(very finely chopped)
Cilantro - 2 tsp (very finely chopped)
Oil - to fry
Sesame seeds - 2 tsp
water - to need the dough

Method:
1.Take a bowl/plate add maida,salt,chili powder,butter,chopped cilantro,sesame seeds ,chopped spring onion mix it .
2.Add water very little at a time and knead the dough softly and keep it aside for 15 min.
3.Take very little amount of dough and make a small ball . With the help of rolling pin roll it and make a circle. Now take a sharp knife and make 3-4 slits by leaving a centimeter on the top and bottom. Carefully fold it twice and twist both the ends using your fingers.
4.Keep it on a paper or plastic sheet and complete the rest.
5.Heat oil in a kadai/pan and once the oil is hot drop in very little dough to see if its raising up after few seconds, then its the right temperature to fry.
6.Add 4-5 at a time depending on the size of your pan , fry them by constantly stirring them so that it they don't burn.
7.leave them in a tissue and once they cool down ,store them in a air tight container and it stays fresh for a week or even more.

Note: As you see in the picture , the endings of the snack are not neatly pressed so when you make them you can press and make even soft endings .
